Orion OVL1450 Violin Outfit

The ORION OVL1450 is top of the line violin in the ORION standard line-up. This violin is fully handmade by our senior luthier in our multi award winning workshop in Beijing. This model is handcrafted with great attention to detail; from selecting the highest grade European spruce and flamed maple that has been dried for over 20 years, hand-planing the plates to an accurate thickness, and hand varnished and antiqued. The OVL1450 is hand selected by our staff musicians, tested and trialed on-site before they are delivered to Australia.

The OVL1450 offers a stronger projection and tonal strength, giving a 'direct' reach to the audience. This model is suitable for solo performances due to it's richness and broadness in colours, not to mention its physical beauty.

The OVL1450 has been inspected by our master-luthier in Perth:

Crescendo’s professional String Instrument Setup includes:

• bridge and bridge feet shaping, reduction, and oiling
  
• soundpost definition and positioning (depends on player's preferences for tone)
  
• current strings - Thomastik Dominant 135 (or to your preference)

Future trade-in

All ORION violins, violas, and cellos can be traded in for a different size/model. Trade-in credit value up to 40%, subject to condition.
