“The Sounds of Borneo for Piano” consists of five solo pieces and one duet piece inspired by different traditional instruments from Borneo.
The instruments which inspired these pieces are Sapé (Lute), Selingut (Nose Flute), Jatung Utang (Xylophone), Pratuokng (Bamboo Zither), Engkerumong (Gongs) and Lutong (Zither). For each instrument, there is an illustration and a short description that is written in English, Chinese and Bahasa Melayu.
