What to do if your parcel is late
- Instead of calling us for an update, we recommend Australia Post's mobile app and tracking tool. They provide the most accurate and up to date info the freight company has.
- If your parcel is more than 15 business days late, please lodge a late item enquiry.
Delivery delays: International
Deliveries to and from overseas depend on overseas postal and delivery services. Restrictions and operating constraints are causing delays in most countries.
- Some countries are not currently accepting parcels.
- Fewer international flights mean some items may be delayed.
- Items may be held longer than usual by Australian and overseas customs authorities.

Once your item has shipped, you will receive a Shipment Notification email with carrier and tracking information. When your order is despatched from our retail showroom, we advise you take into current Australia Post / Toll Group / TNT delivery issues that are unforeseen or unavoidable beyond Crescendo Music's reasonable control.
International shipping is available to selected countries and are shipped via Australia Post and will be delivered by local post or its affiliates. Please proceed to checkout to receive a freight quote. Alternatively, feel free to submit your order with a query and we will contact you to arrange appropriate shipping.
When your order ships from our warehouse, we will send you a Shipment Notification email including your tracking number. How Much Does Delivery Cost?
Delivery charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
Delivery costs are determined based on the shipping method and the dimensions of the parcel for your product as quoted by the Australia Post module, usually fixed at $5.95 inc GST for book orders under 500g*, and standard smaller parcels from $8.95 inc GST. Alternatively, feel free to submit your order with a query and we will contact you to arrange appropriate shipping. For more information on Australia Posts freight charges please visit their website.
Other shipping methods we use include letter stamps (untracked), prepaid envelopes, prepaid satchels as well as the e-Parcel services.
To determine the applicable shipping rate for items in your Cart:
- Select “Checkout” or “Buy It Now”
- Select or add your shipping address
- Select your preferred shipping method and select “Continue to Payment Method”
- Select your preferred payment method and select “Pay Now”
The total shipping and handling cost will be listed under Order Summary.
*Please note that the Domestic Letter / Express Envelope options are STRICTLY FOR BOOKS UNDER 500G ONLY. If you still chose to select one of these freight options for items other than books, while our team members will package all orders carefully, there is no warranty against loss or damage to goods during carriage and while the Goods are in the freight company's possession.
How Long Would It Take?
Orders typically take 1-3 business days to process and will be dispatched no more than 10 days after ordering. At times where an item is a special request, something we do not normally stock or is one that is out of stock at the publisher or supplier, it may take two to five weeks to arrive from overseas.
Dispatch times may vary according to availability. Any representations made regarding delivery times are estimates only and are subject to delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we are not responsible. Please note that during major sales events (such as Back to School Sale, EoF Sale and Christmas Sale) we may take an extra day or two to prepare your order. This includes both Click and Collect orders and deliveries.
Your order may be fulfilled from multiple locations at different times depending on stock availability. You won’t be charged any more for delivery in this instance.
Customs, Duties, & Taxes
We do not assume responsibility for any applied customs or taxes. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).
Some items have the option for an in-store pickup. Once your order is completed and has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email to inform you that your order is ready to be picked up.
Please wait until your receive a collection confirmation SMS and/or email before you head to our store. You are always welcome to contact us to inquire about your order status.
If you wish to nominate someone else to collect the order on your behalf, please write us an email in advance to advise the full name of the person and expected pick up time. The person must present a copy of the order confirmation email or collection notification SMS when picking up the order. They will need to produce valid Photo ID at the point of collection.
* Please note that they will be unable to pick up the order if they cannot provide the order confirmation email or collection notification SMS.
If an item is temporarily out of stock, you will be contacted and informed of the expected delivery date. It is at your discretion if you would like to accept or cancel the order.
