Hans Hoyer continues to maintain its reputation internationally as a renowned French horn manufacturer, through their commitment in building instruments with uncompromising musical and technical standards to meet the expectations of musicians today.
Hans Hoyer joined the Buffet Crampon family in 2012 and continues to be produced in Markneukirchen, Germany.
Using modern manufacturing processes in Europe’s most modern musical instrument factory, Hoyer’s mastery creates instruments with excellent response, precise intonation and desirable sound.
The 801 model has been a mainstay model in the lineup, suitable for budding beginners all the way up to the aspiring professional.
The 801 model is styled after the traditional workings of German-American Carl Geyer. The Geyer style wrap is distinctive from other designs due to its rich and clear tone, deep resonance and strong projection. The Chicago based inventor created a well-balanced instrument with an open layout and a smaller bell throat. This uniqueness has made the Geyer style wrap popular amongst professional musicians across the world.
