The Orion 1300 Series Double French Horn is designed for developing players seeking the added flexibility and security of a full F/B♭ double-horn system.
Combining the warm, rounded character of the F side with the greater accuracy and clarity of the B♭ side, the 1300 Series provides players with greater control across the instrument’s full register. It is well suited to advancing students, school and community ensembles, orchestral playing and chamber music.
Its detachable bell allows the horn to pack into a more compact case, making transportation and storage considerably easier than with a fixed-bell instrument. This is particularly useful for students travelling regularly between home, school, rehearsals and performances.
Constructed from durable brass with nickel components, the Orion 1300 Series offers a clear response, strong projection and a versatile tonal character. The lower register is warm and full, while the upper register remains focused and brilliant.
The horn is supplied in a compact, protective hard-foam padded case.
