The Orion OVL900 (2015) is a stunning custom designed selected and handmade violin for Crescendo Music in a 7/8 size configuration for violinists looking for a violin slightly smaller in size compared to a 4/4 size violin. The violin is crafted from naturally aged spruce for the top and select maple for the back and sides. This violin is remarked for a strong and projecting voice - despite a 7/8 scale length and smaller body. It features rosewood fittings with an E fine tuner, and a beautiful flamed one-piece maple back. The lightly antiqued varnish finish is achieved through a blend of traditional oil varnish methods, then coated with spirit varnish for added depth. Made early in 2015 by our award-winning luthiers in our professional workshop, this violin represents the pinnacle of craftsmanship.
Ideal for intermediate to advancing violinists, this instrument delivers exceptional tonal quality.
