The OFL1400S flute is the advanced level flute for established musicians who wish to explore the vast tonal and performance possibilities. The 1400S features a B-footjoint tube, and higher grade Japanese-made silver plated body. 

Advanced Headjoint

The sterling silver headjoint on the 1400 adds structural and sonic integrity, a fitting upgrade on an advanced flute. Sterling silver creates a layer of clarity and resonance with classic brilliance tone. 

 17 Key B-Footjoint

The extended footjoint is available on the 1400S models and higher, for an extended lower B note. This enables flautists to have a greater range when playing.

Solid Construction - by the best

The OFL1400S have an engineered body constructed in Japan with precision cutting machines for a consistent and high quality make. The thicker tubing walls also add a slight heft to the overall weight of the flute providing a solid feel to the hands. Finally, each instrument is hand set-up and finished in our nominated Australian technical workshop.

Pointed & French Keys

Bb, F# and other non-fingered keys feature pointed key arms. This beautiful key design is inspired by traditional European style.

All Silver Plated Body Construction

An all silver plated body enhances the look of the flute and reduces the likelihood of the finger contact points turning 'cloudy.' It also provides the ability to produce a higher tonal quality when played.
