The X1 Pro Max features a top crafted from high-quality solid torrified plateau Sitka spruce, a wood commonly found in premium acoustic guitars, which have been stored for nearly 15 years. Enya’s “MAX Carbonisation” process involves treating the spruce top at high heat (~180 °C for around 45 days), causing the wood’s cellular structure to rearrange.
