The Stauffer #802E is an upper-intermediate violin made in Germany, which has been designed and set up for playing at an upper-intermediate level. This makes the #802E a great choice for violinists preparing for the middle to upper AMEB grades, the higher Suzuki books, or their equivalent. As this violin has quite a bright sound, it would be perfect for players looking for more projection and definition to their sound, and with its easy action and resonance, it makes for a very balanced instrument.
This violin has a two-piece back of maple, a top of widely grained spruce, a golden-amber varnish, and ebony fittings.
