Since its debut in 1995, Larsen’s Original Viola A has become the go-to choice for violists worldwide, renowned for its outstanding projection, versatile sound palette, and enduring reliability. Building on this trusted foundation, the Larsen Virtuoso Viola strings introduce a fresh innovation for the D, G, and C strings. This new range is thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the tried-and-tested A string, offering a balanced interplay of qualities that combine the best of tradition with bold new enhancements.

The new Virtuoso for viola, available as individual strings or as sets in Medium and Soloist variants, achieves that complementary balance. The Medium set delivers a rich sound texture whilst the Soloist is more focused and brings greater volume to the instrument.

All Larsen strings are made in Denmark.
