Improved Body Materials
The Poly-Wood body, constructed from a mix of wood composite and engineered synthetic polymer, is an upgrade from the standard ABS material used on many student clarinets. The result of an improved clarinet body gives a more rich and full tone, which helps with tonal control when playing and performing.
The strong body construction makes it durable, yet not too light like other all-ABS body clarinets.
Quality Features
The 1250N model features nickel-plated keys, and is fitted with high-quality leather pads for reliability, durability, and long-term performance. A screw-in post system ensures a solid playing feel while also allowing for easier servicing and maintenance. Each post is reinforced with an additional retaining screw for a durable keywork, which is especially helpful for new clarinetists.
Completing the design are the upgraded blued steel springs, which are machine-pointed and heat-treated to deliver exceptional rigidity without brittleness, resulting in faster, cleaner, and more responsive key action.
