The Schroeder #30J Cello is perfect for beginners looking for an instrument that will take them a little further, offering more richness and clarity than very entry-level instruments. Handcrafted in China and professionally set up by our workshop team here in Sydney, the Schroeder #30J produces a clean, clear, crisp tone with good projection.
The cello is crafted from aged spruce and maple tonewoods and finished with a golden-honey varnish. It is fitted with quality ebony pegs and a tailpiece with built-in fine tuners, making tuning easy and reliable and allowing players to spend more time learning and playing. The cello is strung with a quality Larsen Cello Strings combination. The A and D Strings are Larsen Original, which bring more clarity, while the G and C Strings are Larsen Auroras, which offer a warmer sound.
The Schroeder #30J is most suitable for students up to a fourth grade AMEB standard.
