A simple, inexpensive humidifier is all that is required to save your instrument from any damage caused by humidity. Humidifiers gradually release moisture into the surrounding air, protecting your instrument and your bow. The humidifier provides long term humidity protection. It guards against cracking and warping.
To use your Humidifer, immerse it in water for 15-20 seconds. Squeeze lightly to remove excess water and wipe the outside of the tube and the ends.
Insert the Humidifier in the F hole (sound hole) of the instrument until all of the moisture-release holes are inside.
Check your humidifier daily to make sure the level remains constant. Wait until the Humidifier is nearly dry before re-dampening.
