The HOGO Classic IV Series Polycarbonate Case, released in May 2026, is the latest addition to the HOGO lineup. Designed with practicality, durability, and refinement in mind, it features a dual-latch 3-pin combination lock system, open-lid support design, and a newly developed premium studded interior for improved instrument protection.

The matte surface not only enhances the visual depth of the case but also helps minimise the appearance of everyday marks and scratches. Every shell undergoes strength and stress testing to ensure long-term durability while remaining lightweight and practical for daily use.
Reinforced Shell Design
The Classic IV carries forward the structural profile of the previous Classic III generation, incorporating a raised front lid design to improve shell rigidity and overall case strength.
This reinforcement provides greater resistance against everyday knocks and helps maintain structural integrity over time.

The HOGO Classic IV has been carefully balanced to sit securely whether placed on a table, stage floor, or studio environment.
It also introduces dual 3-pin combination locks: a feature previously reserved for our Classic III Carbon Series, now made available at a more accessible price point.
Interior Protection & Comfort
Despite its lightweight construction, the Classic IV offers increased internal cushioning throughout the instrument contact points.
Maintaining our suspended support system at the heel and lower bout, we have added new studded rear cushioning to provide additional support across the back of the instrument while reducing unnecessary pressure points.
Inside the Case
Each case includes:
- Protective violin cover to reduce rosin dust build-up and minimise surface scratches
- Dedicated zippered accessory compartment for storing essentials such as rosin, cloths, tuning forks, mutes, and small accessories
- Comfortable backpack straps for convenient hands-free transport
