Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source
Privia's piano tones are sourced from recordings of world famous concert grand pianos. Casio applies advanced technologies to optimise pianists' expressive capabilities by faithfully reproducing their individual keystroke characteristics and the changes in sound quality and volume produced by an acoustic piano with the passage of time.

Sound Projection
A newly developed sound system projects sound upward and downward like a grand piano. The sound is not confined inside the instrument, but passes out naturally through the speakers to realise a deep listening sensation like that produced by a grand piano.
Tri-Sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II
Three advanced Casio sensors accurately detect keystroke speeds and timing and employ them to realise subtle sounds and performance characteristics that might be expected only from an acoustic piano. The action mechanism emulates the deadweight of piano hammers to realise a natural touch like that of a grand piano, moreover, with heavier strokes required to reproduce low notes and a progressively lighter touch employed as the tones move up the scale.
Simulated Ebony and Ivory Feel Keys
Simulated ebony and ivory keys inhibit finger slippage due to sweat and produce the sensation of a comfortable fingertip fit that lasts even through extended sessions.
Concert Play
High-quality audio data recordings of live orchestra performances are installed. Pianists can play along with the recordings and enjoy the feeling of participating in a magnificent performance. Musical scores of the concerts are bundled.
Headphone Mode
Headphone Mode automatically creates a spacious sonic image while wearing headphones, recreating the feeling of playing an acoustic piano. With the experience of wearing headphones significantly enhanced, pianists can enjoy playing naturally and feeling the sound field of a traditional grand piano.
Volume Sync EQ
Volume Sync EQ is especially useful for quiet playing at home and other times when you want to keep the speaker volume low. This function balances the sound at low volumes by adjusting the sound quality in the low and high registers. The result is a constantly pleasant playing experience, no matter where the volume is set.
Chordana Play for Piano
Compatibility with the Chordana Play for Piano app adds the ability to perform such operations as display of built-in music scores in PDF format and piano tone colour setting. When connected to a smartphone or tablet display, the app makes a variety of functions available for piano performances.
