The Stauffer #803E Guarneri model is a German-made instrument that would best fit players considering performances situations like the upper AMEB grades, HSC music, or even school and community orchestras. As with most Guarneri model instruments, this violin has a warm and smooth sound which easily fills the room, and excels in a variety of musical characters. It is balanced across all registers, both in sound and in feeling.
The violin has a two-piece back of maple, a finely-grained spruce top, a golden-amber varnish, and ebony fittings.
