To ensure optimal sound quality and proper functionality of the instrument, it is crucial to have them set up by a skilled and expreicned luthier and undergo regular check up. Our team of luthier and apprentices specialise in providing professional care and servicing for your instrument, ensuring it remains in excellent playing condition at all times. Setup and service costs can start from $45 up to $150 depending on the type of setup (bridge work, new soundpost etc). Any orchestral stringed instrument purchased from us (Crescendo Music) are eligible for free servicing.
Regular maintenance servicing for musical instruments is essential, typically recommended annually to ensure optimal performance. Depending on usage and practice frequency, this may increase to every six months. Devoting a bit of time and effort to cleaning your instrument can yield significant benefits, preserving its sound quality and minimizing the risk of unexpected repair costs.
