The new Takamine Pro Series TP2DC dreadnought body shape is a classic loud body acoustic guitar with plenty of volume. Coming from the Takamine factory, this model is built with a scalloped X-brace solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides. The guitar comes well set up from the factory to offer optimum playability.
These premium guitars are fitted with Takamine's highly acclaimed state-of-the-art onboard electronics (CT4B II) making live-performances a breeze and rewarding. Paired with a Venetian cutaway to offer optimum access to the upper registers.
Other premium features include a stable mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays. A detailed feature that Takamine offers is the split bone saddle at the bridge to provides faultless intonation and excellent acoustic coupling to the top.
